Polina Nazaykinskaya's PASSACAGLIA ZERO selected by Boston-based Juventas New Music Ensemble

DMA student Polina Nazaykinskaya's PASSACAGLIA ZERO (for clarinet, violin, viola, cello, and 4-hand piano) will be performed by Juventas Music Ensemble this season. The work will receive its Austin premiere at the October 4th CLUTCH concert.

Talk with William Bolcom

William Bolcom came to UT twice in the spring of 2010. His visit coincided with performances by the UT Symphony, Wind Ensemble, and New Music Ensemble. 
The Butler Opera Center premiered the UT-commissioned new chamber version of A View from the Bridge. He was awarded the King Medal.
He also conducted a seminar and masterclasses with our composition students.
