Alarm Will Sound premieres new work by Steven Snowden

The internationally renowned professional chamber orchestra Alarm Will Sound premiered a new work by DMA candidate Steven Snowden at the Mizzou New Music Summer Festival July 16, 2011.  While at the festival, he presented some of his recent works and shared his compositional processes in a public forum and worked closely with guest composers Anna Clyne and Roger Reynolds. Snowden will be returning to Columbia this spring for a two-week residency at the Sinquefeld Reserve, the 1700 acre estate of Rex and Jeanne Sinquefeld, primary benefactors of the MNMSF.
